A Delhi-based couture designer was launching a 12-piece bridal collection. The lehengas retailed at ₹2L+ each — but generic woven labels from her last vendor cheapened the perceived value during fittings.
Bridal couture labels need fine-detail damask, gold thread accents, and mitre-fold finishing for chiffon and net liners. MOQ also matters — 12 labels per collection is an order most factories ignore.
Built a custom damask weave at 1.2× standard density to carry the fine script logo. Six rounds of sample previews on WhatsApp before bulk — gold thread shade was tuned three times to match her hangtag. Mitre fold for soft, invisible attachment under net.
Sharper detail than standard satin.
Three rounds of shade tuning to match brand.
Soft-edge, invisible under net & chiffon.
Collection sold out at preview. Designer locked the recipe to her account — the next two collections used identical damask, gold-thread shade and mitre fold. Zero re-briefing required.
"On a ₹2 lakh garment the label has to feel like it belongs. Six sample rounds and they didn't bat an eyelid. The recipe is on file now; my next collection just slots in."
