At 10,000+ pieces, custom taffeta labels start from ₹0.80 each, which is roughly 30–40% cheaper than the same artwork printed on satin or cotton. For monthly production over 5,000 garments, the savings add up to lakhs across a year.
Polyester taffeta is the standard — UV-stable, holds colour well, resists shrinking, and is the best fit for outerwear and export goods. Nylon taffeta is softer to the touch with slight stretch and stronger abrasion resistance, but absorbs more moisture. For mass-market apparel inner labels we recommend polyester taffeta; for premium-feel neck labels in loungewear or lingerie, nylon taffeta is worth the small premium.
Yes — specify soft-edge heat-cut taffeta and we finish the edges with a hot blade that seals the synthetic fibres together. No loose threads, no sharp corners, no fraying after wash. This is the default specification we ship for kidswear, baby clothing and intimates where the label sits in direct contact with sensitive skin.
No fixed MOQ — taffeta orders start from 100 labels. That said, taffeta is built for volume: pricing drops to ₹1.10/label at 2,001–10,000 and ₹0.80/label at 10,000+. For a first-drop pilot we suggest at least 500 pieces; for monthly production runs, 5,000+ unlocks the best per-piece economics. Larger commitments (50,000+/year) qualify for further volume-locked pricing — WhatsApp us for the rate.
Yes — we offer GRS-trackable RPET taffeta woven from post-consumer plastic bottles. The finish, print quality and stitching behaviour match virgin polyester taffeta, so sustainable fashion brands can drop it into existing production lines without retooling. Lead times are 1–2 days longer than standard taffeta because we batch-source the GRS-trackable RPET yarn. Useful for brands tagging eco-claims on garments going to EU markets.
Polyester taffeta is resistant to shrinking, stretching and frequent washing up to 60°C. With heat-fixed resin inks and the tightly-woven base, prints hold sharp through 50+ home wash cycles — enough to outlast a typical fast-fashion garment lifecycle. For uniforms washed at higher temperatures or industrial laundries, we'd suggest stepping up to woven labels instead.
